If you are experiencing homelessness and need a safe place to stay, Thrive Grove may be able to help. We provide temporary shelter, essential services, and support to help you transition to permanent housing. To ensure everyone’s safety, we ask that prospective participants consider the rules specified below; they will help you determine whether Thrive Grove is a good fit for you.
Note that Thrive Grove is focused on serving the local community. Only referrals of persons experiencing unsheltered homelessness who are from the Thousand Oaks area or have long-standing ties to the City are being accepted at this time.
To maintain a safe and structured environment, Thrive Grove does not allow unscheduled arrivals. You must call 211 to begin the intake process. Walk-up or bike-up arrivals will not be accepted.

Thrive Grove is a structured program for individuals ready to take steps toward housing stability. Participants are expected to be respectful of others in this community living environment and must agree to engage in the program & follow the rules. Some key rules include:
🚫 No Drugs, Alcohol, or Weapons. Smoking is only allowed in designated places.
🚫 No Visitors – Only approved service providers are allowed.
🚫 No Loitering – Hanging around the neighboring businesses is not permitted.
When you arrive at Thrive Grove, your belongings must fit within a designated storage space. Belongings will be heat-treated on-site for pest prevention. Large or excessive items are not allowed. Ask us for more information when you call.
